Welcoming Rebekah Paulson to our Wellness Practitioner Team!

Rebekah has been part of the Be Free community for a LONG time and we are SO thrilled to be welcoming her to the WP team as a Massage Therapist! She's offering 60 & 90min sessions. We asked her some questions so you can catch her vibe!

What are you offering at Be Free?

Hi all! I'm Rebekah Paulson, LMT and owner of Heartening Touch Massage Therapy. I am offering massage therapy that integrates my favorite parts of massage school. As a recent graduate, my toolbox is packed with modalities from which to tailor a unique treatment for every session. Right now I'm incorporating Swedish, Thai, Hot Stones, Trigger Point Therapy, Zero Balancing, and Myofascial Release. Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes and take place at the beautiful Be Free Healing Center. Prices are all-inclusive, meaning that tips are not expected (or accepted) and there is no extra charge for modalities like Hot Stones or deep tissue work.

How did you get interested in massage?

I actually got into massage parallel to my interest in hospice work and eldercare. I am very interested in providing a heartening touch to people who are lacking in such a thing. So much of the touch in these arenas of life is clinical and not very nurturing. So as I grow my massage practice I hope to encourage older adults to receive massage for mobility, stability, and ease of mind. I am currently working on establishing a fund that will allow me to offer sliding scale rates to older adults in our community.

What are you currently excited about in your life?

Besides massage therapy which I've been breathing/eating/dreaming nonstop, I'm really excited to get back to my sewing machine. It's gathered dust, looking mournful on my sewing bench during school. I have a pattern in my mind for quilted linen eye pillows, weighted with lava sand and perfect for... you guessed it, massage! It's a theme.

What's something people might not know about you?

I'm a lifelong local. Born in Fort Collins, I've lived here for all but a handful of my 45 years. I dearly love this community... the people, fauna and flora. The geography has shaped my equal love for mountain and prairie.

What teacher has made the biggest impact on you in your life?

This is a great question because I can't answer it in a straightforward way. Teachers are the one consistent thread running through all the various iterations of Rebekah. I was born to two teachers, am friends with my teachers from first grade (Hi Carol) through senior year at boarding school. I've lived with my teachers and taken trips with teachers. There are teachers whom I'll never meet on this plane (Hi Baba Ram Das), and new-to-me teachers like Sunny van der Star, my Thai massage instructor, who I hope to be a forever student of. Teachers, I love 'em!

Is there anything else you want to share?

My website/booking info would probably be prudent, ha! You can find me at
