What are you currently offering at Be Free?

šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø Yoga – Myofascial Release Yoga (Mondays, 12–1 PM)

This class rolls right into Wellness—literally! šŸŽ¾šŸ¤£ I guide students through releasing pain and tension using tennis balls and other props, while empowering them with tools to support their own healing. Sharing this knowledge feels deeply important because I know how it has changed my life.Ā

šŸ‘ Reiki – Wisewoman Intuitive Reiki ✨

Reiki has been my foundation for over 25 years. It’s woven through my life, and it’s a JOY to teach and share in private sessions. My practice has evolved to include the wisdom and magic I’ve gathered along the way: breath, movement, meditation, mothering, myofascial tools & techniques, crystals, aromatherapy, sound healing, oracle cards…the list continues to grow!Ā

šŸŒ¬ļø Breathwork – Be Freeā„¢ Breathwork Facilitator

All my sessions and classes include intentional breath awareness and practice. I’m also a certified Be Freeā„¢ Breathwork Facilitator and love offering transformative sessions—private, small group, and community-based.

šŸ’ Women’s Circles & Workshops

My monthly Crone Circle: Women’s Wisdom Sharing lights me up! It’s a powerful and nourishing space to connect and share.Ā

Another growing passion of mine? Feet! 🦶 Observations of aging relatives and their feet inspired me to create Sole to Soul, a foot fitness workshop all about caring for our feet—our literal foundation. We explore their powerful connection to the rest of the body and how to keep them strong and mobile. Essential at any age, but especially as we grow into our wisdom years!

There are a few more workshops brewing in my brain space too!Ā

What are you finding most inspiring in your life right now?

The transformational power of holding space, of connection, of community… ultimately, the power of Love.

I see it in the shared support that flows through my Friday 9am class—affectionately called ā€œFriday Family.ā€ It is palpable in Crone Circles. And I witness it in the softening and brightening of someone’s energy after a healing session.

Soon, I’ll be officiating the wedding of two of my yoga students—what a full-circle moment of love and service. šŸ’ž

What teacher has made the biggest impact on your life?

My first answer is always: my daughter, and my mom. I’ve also been blessed with incredible teachers along the path of yoga and healing—too many to name!

So today, at 56, I’m going to say: my body.

Oh, sweet body. We didn’t always have the best relationship. I neglected, overused, and took her for granted. I spent too many years wishing she was something else. But now, every injury and change has humbled and taught me—and continues to inform everything I offer. She is wise. She is sacred. She is home.

What’s something people might not know about you?

I started teaching at a young age—I was a SCUBA instructor by 20. In Wisconsin (land-locked mermaid)! Ā Looking back, I see now that diving was my first real connection with the power and importance of the breath.

I love how things circle around! 🌊

Any specials or upcoming events you’d like to share?

Crone Circle: Friday, August 1, 6-9pm.Ā

Join us for connection, laughter, and shared wisdom.

Sole to Soul Foot Workshop: Coming Fall 2025

We’ll gather before winter sets in (and our feet get bundled up). Stay tuned for the date—it was originally scheduled on the same day my daughter chose for her wedding, which also happens to be my dog’s 2nd birthday. What are the odds?!Ā
