What are you currently offering at Be Free?
I am a Reiki Master Teacher, Be Free Breathwork facilitator, budding sound healer, and recent Yoga Teacher Training graduate. I offer private intuitive and clairvoyant Reiki healing sessions (longer sessions have gong/singing bowls/chimes woven in), teach all levels of Reiki certifications/attunements, lead private and group breathwork journeys, and facilitate the occasional workshop.
What are you finding most inspiring in your life right now?
I just finished an 8-month-long journey in Be Free's Yoga Teacher Training. I've been a student of yoga since I took my first class in college -- nearly 30 years ago! I began the training liking yoga and ended the training completely enamored with it. The training opened my eyes to how special and deep this sacred practice is and most importantly, how much further it goes beyond asana (the movement practice). I am so excited to begin teaching in the community. Look for me to sub classes at Be Free soon!
How would you describe your approach or specialties?
My approach is rooted in the belief that we are all our own healers, and that the answers we seek already live within us. I specialize in energy work across multiple modalities -- including Reiki, Breathwork, sound healing, and now yoga -- to help gently uncover what may be buried deep inside. I see my role as a mirror: someone who reflects back the truth, wisdom, and wholeness that already exists within each person. I help create space for clarity, release, and transformation.
What's something people might not know about you?
I am riddled with arthritis! I have had bones in both feet fused and a total ankle replacement. I have Grade 2 spondylolisthesis in my low back and arthritis in both knees. I know what it's like to live with chronic pain -- not just the physical challenges, but also the mental and emotional challenges. I use energy work and yoga to navigate the hard moments, and I feel my personal experience with pain allows me to work with others in pain with the utmost care and compassion.
