Experience Ayurvedic Bliss With Emma Horne

1-You bring the Ayurveda magic to Be Free… how long have you been practicing?

And what an honor it is! I trained in India as an Ayurvedic Therapist over 15 years ago, immersing myself in the traditions and wisdom of this ancient healing system in the Motherland. While I’ve carried these teachings in my heart ever since, I’ve been offering Ayurvedic therapies professionally for the past 3 years. It’s such a gift to bring these practices into the modern world, especially in a space like Be Free.

2- What’s your favorite treatment to give?

I love giving luxurious 2-hour long Abhyanga massages, or better yet, combining Abhyanga with Shirodhara. These deeply restorative sessions allow me to move intentionally on all the areas of the body, weaving in reiki and subtle energy work as I go. I love holding space for people to fully surrender, and watching them emerge from the treatment glowing, grounded, and profoundly nourished. There’s a certain kind of magic that happens when we give ourselves permission to truly slow down and receive.

3- Why do you think Ayurveda is so beneficial?

Ayurveda is wonderful because it treats everyone as an individual. It gently guides you back to balance using a few simple tools that are in-tune with our own true nature, that of the natural world and our surroundings. What’s especially powerful is how the treatments address the nervous system, something nearly everyone needs support with these days. Here in Colorado, we live in a very vata-aggravating climate, and warm medicated oils, applied in long, soothing strokes, can deeply restore our systems. The oil isn’t just nourishing, it’s medicine. When we pair that with intentional breath and presence, we begin to find harmony from the inside out.

4-What else is currently happening in your life? What are you excited about?

I’m beyond excited to be training as an Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula. It feels like a sacred extension of my current offerings, providing new mothers the deep care, nourishment, and reverence they so deserve. I’m learning how to prepare warm, healing, organic meals, and how to support new Mamas with ritual, ceremony, massage, and energy work. I’ll be offering both à la carte and full-care packages that include meal delivery, Ayurvedic bodywork, sound healing, and more.As a mother to two incredible daughters (ages 8 and 10), one of whom I’ll be homeschooling next year, I understand firsthand the importance of community in raising a family. I feel so honored to be stepping into this role - offering my heart, healing touch, and spirit to help other mothers feel held, seen, and restored.

5- What’s something people might not know about you?

I used to work in the Back Office for The Bank of Ireland, and I would regularly have to go and count all the money in their vault, which was a LOT of money. (And some of the currencies were pretty gross and stinky). I’m very happy to say that working in a bank in London is long behind me, and was definitely not my jam.

Emma is currently offering a Summer Special! Ayurvedic Massage & Reiki : 60min $80 or 90min $120 . You can book with her HERE!
