BIG SHIFTS HAPPENING… Read All About It!

ree

Beautiful people, as some of you might already know, I have made the decision to let go of my massage practice in January. After 19 years, my body is asking for an extended break… I’ll be finishing up some outstanding gift certificates and packages in Jan/Feb, but aside from that I will be shifting out of seeing massage clients in January. I want to offer my DEEPEST appreciation for all the amazing humans I’ve gotten to nurture over the many years I’ve been back in FoCo (since 2012). Some of my clients have been with me for over a decade! Thank you from the depth of my being to all of my regular clients.

As I made the decision to shift away from my massage practice, (which felt scary as it has been a main source of income for my whole adult life) part of that decision was based in wanting to have more energy for the studio … to nurture our staff and clients at a deeper level. The reality is that I have had what I’ve been calling “bare-minimum maintenance” energy for a long long time because I use so much of my energy each week seeing clients.

Making this decision lead to a conversation between Bee and I around what our business partnership would look like moving forward and the question of “What do YOU need Bee?” arose. As many of you know, Bee and her husband Brandon also have their own building company, Prosper, which is growing and keeping Bee very busy! In addition to running two businesses, Bee has had some very intense health issues over the last year. So, after some deep inner listening, we came to the unexpected decision that Bee will be selling me her half of the business at the end of this year and I will become the sole owner in January. This creates more space for her and feels like unexpected perfect timing for me. I would never have expected to feel capable of running all the details of this business on my own… and… somehow, now I do :) . I think a lot of that is because of the refinement that Bee brought to every aspect of our business.

I want to give my BIGGEST love and appreciation for the way that Bee has held our community and me over the last 1.5yrs. She came in at a time when I so deeply needed her fire and organizational self! Together I feel like we have refined so many pieces of this business, all while supporting each other first as friends, sisters, and mothers. Our friendship has deepened SO much and it has been beautiful to watch her step back into community and receive support as she has navigated some very unexpected health challenges. I love you Bee… you are such a gift. Here’s to the next wave of expansion, play, and REST for us both.

Bee will have her own post coming in the next few weeks as we make this transition with so much love and care.

Thank you ALL for being with us.

Here's to the year of the Horse that is coming in 2026!

May the horsepower be strong!!

Loving you,

Melanie
