(she/her). In 2017, a good friend asked me, “Do you want to try something weird?” I am paraphrasing, but that was essentially the question. And my answer was immediately, “YES!” So I signed up for an afternoon breathwork retreat with Melanie Lighthouser and I have never turned back. Breathwork came into my life as I struggled on my own healing journey. The breathwork experience offered community; a space to let go and move whatever was ‘stuck’ within me, allowing me to find clarity and guidance within myself through intentionally breathing. “The breath is the tool,” as Melanie first imparted to me.

Now I am a certified Be Free Breathwork facilitator, using what I have learned through the process of my own journey to offer space for others to be in their imagination, be held in their truth, and be at peace in their own experience. My intention is to hold space with love and integrity, offer grounded connection through truth and vulnerability, and ignite transformation through breath.

In addition to facilitating breathwork regularly at the Be Free Healing Center, I am a Reiki practitioner (Levels 1 & 2 attunement), and I am a guest instructor at The Golden Poppy Herbal Apothecary, offering breathwork retreats in their upstairs classroom. I am available for one-on-one breathwork experiences, as well as small and large group breathwork retreats co-facilitated with other Be Free Breathwork facilitators.

My path has led me to dive deeply into myself with various practitioners, bring concepts of regenerative agriculture to my little piece of land, raise goats, take classes to expand my understanding of my role in this world while integrating the book knowledge I learned when earning my B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago in the early 2000's. In 2015 I earned my Certified Nutrition Therapy Practitioner certification while working with clients I realized there had to be a better way for people to move internal blocks while opening up to new possibilities. I was led to become certified in BeFree Breathwork and complete Reiki levels 1 and 2 attunement in 2020 to help my clients and myself.

I am available for one-on-ones, small groups and large groups as part of a team with other
BeFree Certified facilitator(s).

Since childhood, I’ve been curious about non-traditional ways of healing and processing, and that search has led me explore reiki, acupuncture, massage, crystals and oils, and of course, breathwork. My first experience with breathwork at Be Free was nothing short of transformational. My core being has shifted through my breathwork practice, which helped me unearth and lovingly examine beliefs I was holding that no longer served me. I am a calmer, more centered, more connected human because of breathwork, and I am excited to hold space for others to experience this powerful practice. I am also a wife and mother, as well as a reiki practitioner at Be Free.

I facilitate large breathwork groups on a regular basis at Be Free and am available for one-on-one and small group breathwork sessions as well. I am also seeing reiki clients at Be Free or through distance/virtual sessions.
